What is the 10U Performance Network?

The 10U Performance Network are a group of nationally recognised, LTA kitemarked 10U training environments delivering high-quality programmes for players aged 7–10 at the Regional Performance Stage of the LTA Player Pathway.

These programmes play an important role within the Player Pathway, helping to increase the number and quality of players who are inspired, informed, and ready to meet the demands of the National Performance stage of the player pathway (10-14 years old).

LTA kitemarked programmes have demonstrated that they meet the standards and expectations required to support players at this stage of the pathway. These programmes:

  • Deliver quality daily training environments aligned to the age, stage and needs of developing players at the start of their performance journey.
  • Provide structured coaching, competition support, and athletic development opportunities.
  • Are committed to long term player development and led by qualified and accredited coaches with expertise at this age and stage.

Purpose of the Network

The purpose of the 10U Performance Network is to provide inspirational and high-quality development environments, in line with the LTA Aspirational Standards, which motivate and nurture the development of young players at the start of their performance journey.

Through the delivery of high-quality coaching and support for parents, these programmes will increase the number and quality of players learning through regular competition and optimise player development to ensure players successfully transition into the National Performance stage of the Player Pathway.
